Negative Calorie Foods
I have no idea where I got this but it was a note in my drafts:
There are several negative calorie foods. This means that you use more calories to digest and absorb them than are contained in the portion. Examples are celery, leeks, apples, kiwis, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and strawberries.
Fiber soaks up fat. It also helps in the absorption of nutrients and elimination of wastes. A high fiber diet also helps reduce your risk of bowel cancer, diabetes, gallstones, and varicose veins.
